Obituary | Jan 28, 1987 | OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS, VT – Alice A. Garrow, 85, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, 1987, at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, following a brief illness. Mrs. Garrow was born Aug. 24, 1901, the daughter of George and Cora (Wilson) Farmer. She was a member of the Tyler Branch Grange 498, the Enosburg Senior Citizens Young at Heart and the Enosburg Falls United Methodist Church She is survived by four sons, Harold Garrow of Norwich, Conn., Gordon Garrow of Montgomery, Clifford Garrow of Moretown and Leonard Garrow of Georgia; four daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Florence) Cameron of St. Albans, Mrs. Louis (Evelyn) Malerba of Norwich, Mrs. Marjorie Duhaine of Norwich and Mrs. Frances Gauvin of Tenbrooke, Ontario; one brother, Gilbert Farmer of New York; one sister, Mrs. Doris Glynn of Massachusetts; 52 grandchildren and more than 60 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Frank Garrow, and a daughter, Marion Revot, in 1976. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, 1987 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Enosburg Falls. Interment will be in the spring at Montgomery Village Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Spears Funeral Home on Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls.
