Roy Lassiter of Norfolk; 3 sisters: Mrs. Clara Eason of Norfolk, Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Helen Robins of Mathews; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. ---------------------- WAVERLY-Mrs. Mary B Lassiter, 88, widow of Edward T Lassiter and a native of Norfolk County, died Monday morning in Mathews. She formerly lived in Norfolk and was a member of Freemason Street Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Evelyn L Powell of Waverly, two sons, Edward B Lassiter of Virginia Beach and J Roy Lassiter of Norfolk, three sisters, Mrs Clara Eason of Norfolk, Mrs Elizabeth Harrison of Chesapeake, and Mrs Helen Robins of Mathews, eight grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev William L Lumpkin. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Road, has charge.
