ObituarySep 14, 1933  OBITUARY: LEMUEL WELLMAN MORSE of Westfield, NJ, who died Sept. 14, 193-, in Elizabeth General Hospital, from injuries received when his car struck a fire hydrant in Hillside last night, had lived in Westfield eight years. He was born in Hannibal, MO, July 5, 1875, and before coming here, lived in New York.

Morse was active in the tool manufacturing business and was a member of the insurance brokerage firm of Hall, Morse & Company, of 100 William Street, New York. He was president and director of the American Swiss File Company of Elizabeth, and treasurer of the E.R. Reich-Heim Company, tool makers, of New York.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs Emma Johnson Morse; a brother, R. P. Morse of South Manchester, Conn; and a sister, Mrs. John Alexander Bettes, of Montclair.
