His death notice in the August 21, 1925 edition of the Vermont Journal says: "The body of George Brown, aged 84, who died in Bellows Falls, was brought to Windsor Tuesday and buried in Ascutney Cemetery. The deceased is survived by his son, George Brown, Jr., and his daughter, Mrs. Earle Hill of Windsor and by another daughter, Mrs. C.E. Kline of Allentown, PA."
