 was born in Sheldon on December 19, 1945 to the late Sarto & Marie (Tetreault) Brodeur.
 began her career as a nurse at Verdelle Village nursing home, where she selflessly served for an incredible 37 years. Her unwavering dedication and compassion touched the lives of countless patients and their families. With a nurturing spirit, she provided comfort and care, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and patients alike.
 of her profession, Henriette found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She possessed an incredible talent for baking and loved to feed a house full of friends and family. She enjoyed gardening, and traveling throughout the country. Above all, Henriette loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She truly cherished the moments she spent with them.
 to cherish Henriette's memory are her children, Wendell Emch Jr. and his wife Dawn of South Hero, Christina Churchill and her husband Mark of Fairfield, Florence Atherton and her significant other Bobby Peters of Richford, and Matthew Emch of Sheldon; the father of her children, Wendell Emch Sr; grandchildren, Tylan Emch and her significant other Colby, Ayla Atherton and her significant other Dustin, Ezra Atherton, William Barbeau and his wife Autumn, Elizabeth Barbeau and her significant other Garrett, Colton Churchill and his wife Kassandra, Skylar Roddy, Matthew Emch, and Connor Emch; great grandchildren, Karson, Ayvah, Dexter, Aubrey, Ellis, Ariana, and Ryleigh; her siblings, Richard Brodeur, Robert Brodeur and his wife Eleanor, Claude Brodeur, Denise Hoadley-Brown, and Nicole Herron and her husband Gerald; her two-legged cat, Petals; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, Henriette was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Pauline Brodeur; and brothers-in-law, Paul Hoadley, and Hector Brown.
 's family would like to thank Bayada Hospice, especially Michelle & Bridget, for the exceptional care she received.
 & family are invited to Henriette's life celebration on Saturday, December 9, 2023 to include visitation from 5-7:00 PM followed with a memorial service at 7:00 PM at the Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT.3
