Born in Meriden on Oct. 13, 1948, he was the son of Eva Burda Giguere and the late Donald Giguere. Thomas was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church. He had many friends and you would always find him shaking someone's hand. He loved being around people. He also enjoyed fine foods.
Besides his mother, he is survived by one sister, Joan G. Rucszek, of Meriden; one niece, Wendy Luce, of Meriden; and three great-nephews, Zachary, Cameron, and Jackson.

The funeral will be held on Monday, June 24, at St. Stanislaus Church at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, on Sunday, June 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Stanislaus School, 81 Akron St., Meriden CT 06450. For online condolences please visit www.jferryfh.com.
