ObituaryAug 11, 1975  OBITUARY: Wilfred A. Giguere, 81 of 300 Britannia St., husband of Mrs. Gertrude Beier Giguere, died early Sunday morning at World War II Veterans Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, N.H., he was a resident of Meriden since 1938.

He was an employee of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in the North Haven plant for over 21 years, retiring in 1959.

Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons, Donald Giguere and Malcolm Giguere, both of Meriden and Wilfred Giguere Jr. of Jamestown, R.I; two daughters, Mrs. Rudolph (Geraldine) Savaria of Whittier, Calif. and Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Mik of Meriden; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St. and at 10 at St. Marys Church. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery.
