Dobbins was 23 yrs old at time of the census dated April 30, 1930. They were married at the same ages. They lived in Beat 3, Lauderdale County, Mississippi. Lester's parents were born in Alabama (father) and Mississippi (mother). Nancy and Elizabeth's parents were born in Tennessee.3
