ObituaryFeb 8, 1922  OBITUARY: Lucinda Fields was born February 25, 1850 at Clackamas, Oregon to Thomas Fields (1809-1875) and Rebecca Riggs (1812-1874). She was one of 11 children born to Thomas and Rebecca. Her siblings included: William Fields (1829-), Harvey Fields (1832-1916), John Fields (1833-1867), Reuben Fields (1837-1913), Nancy Jane (married name Fields, 1841-1875), Thomas Newton Fields (1844-1904), Mary Catherine (m.n Butler, 1849-1903), Preston Fields (1851-1880), Franklin Fields (1854-1922) and Louisa (m.n. Cuppy, 1857-1877).

Lucinda married Charles Edwin Aldrich on November 27, 1866 ay Grant County, Oregon. They had 8 children: Arvesta Allace (married name Olney, 1869-1941), Nephi Aldrich (1872-1928), Alvira Isabell (married name Olney, 1876-1950), Elroy Francis Aldrich (1879-1949), Joseph Carlos Aldrich (1880-1948), William Edwin (1883-1952), May Arebel (married name Klaus, 1889-1951) and Henry Nelson Aldrich (1891-1976).

Lucinda died February 7, 1922 at Agatha, Idaho. Her parents, husband and several siblings preceded her in death. She was survived by all 8 children and 29+ grandchildren.

Lucinda was a member of the LDS church at Reubens, Idaho. It is said she had a scar on her cheek from cancer that was cured by prayer.
