| Obituary | Feb 18, 2011 | OBITUARY: James Douglas Rountree, of Williamsburg, died on Feb. 13, 2011, at the age of 50. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph M. Rountree. He was a member of the Lafayette High School Class of 1978 and later attended NC State University. James was the owner and operator of Williamsburg Driveline and Transmission. He was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church. A lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group and Tidewater Chapter, James loved riding his motorcycle, NASCAR, and traveling to race tracks. He was also an accomplished carpenter. James is survived by his mother, Jeannette W. Rountree; his sister, Sharon K. Wolf; and his brother-in-law, Troy C. Wolf. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg. A reception will follow the service in the Hospitality Center. In lieu of flowers, take someone special to your favorite restaurant and buy a cold, refreshing beverage of choice! James loved his family and friends with all of his heart.
