He was born August 21, 1947 in Norfolk, VA, to the late Thurman Rountree and the late Evelyn Piland Rountree. He was a munitions specialist for the Air National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Paula J. Rountree; two daughters, Brandi Gragg and Jamie Rountree, both of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Rae Toxey and Elaine Benjamin, both of Virginia Beach, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
