Arthur Wright, Amy's son, stated that Charles Wright left home for a loaf of bread and never returned. He apparently left for Chicago where he changed his last name to Williams and married Christine Evelyn Carkin of Groton. Have not been able to located a divorce record from Amy Irene Tolles.1
