Obituary | Sep 22, 1959 | OBITUARY: Henry Zermie Shifflett 78 of Boonesville died Monday at a Staunton hospital. He was born in Albemarle County. He was the son of the late Charles P and Sarah Walton Shifflett. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Addie Shifflett three sons Clarence Shifflett of White Hall, James Shifflett of Washington D.C. and Alonzo Shifflett of Roanoke, Five daughters, Mrs.Violet Lawson and Mrs.James D Wood both of Charlottesville, Mrs.Carrie P Shifflett of Boonesville, Mrs,Claude Herring of Sparrows Point Md, and Mrs.Raymond Walton of Westminster, Md. A brother Thomas L Shifflett of Boonesville and a sister, Mrs.Lucy N Via of Boonesville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Prize Hill Church of Boonesville with burial in the church cemetery.
