| Obituary | Apr 9, 1954 | OBITUARY: James A. Abbey, 79, for many years a resident of Columbiaville, died Thursday at his residence at 302 Lewis St. Flint. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Reynolds Funeral Home with the Rev Sherman Richards officiating Burial was at Woodlawn. He leaves his wife, Adeline; three sons, Charles of Lapeer, S-Sgt. Anthony of Chanute Field, Ill., and David of Flint; five daughters, Mrs Pearl Walker of Lapeer, Mrs Edna Brown of Lapeer, Mrs Freda Bullis of Lapeer, Mrs Dorothy Parks of Columbiaville, and Mrs Marian Stratton of Flint; a brother, Edward of Columbiaville, 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
