Obituary | Jan 11, 1997 | OBITUARY: Gratuated in 1926 from Hills Business College of Milford, Massachusetts, United States. He worked his way up from office boy to director in 1973. He retired from active employment in 1979 after 53 years of service at the age of 70. He continued his service as a vice president and member of the board of directors up to 1992. Stanly & Louise resided at Rte 140, Mendon, Massachusetts, United States until about 1989, when they moved to a condominium in Hopedale, Massachusetts, United States. Louise moved later to Worcester, Massachusetts, United States when Stanly was diagnosed with Alzheimer disease. He died in early 1997 and a funeral service was held for him at the church of the Unitarian Congregation of Mendon & Uxbridge, Mendon, Massachusetts, United States. After his father's death in 1959, he looked after the affairs of his mother, Colletta A. Parker Tuttle, until her death in 1971. The parent's farm went to him upon his mother's death and he just couldn't bring himself to selling until 1996, as his illness was getting worse. He was most proud of his two daughters, both of which received doctoral degrees.2 |
