ObituaryDec 30, 2004  OBITUARY: Mr. John Dexter McLeod, 65, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004, in the VA Hospital in Charleston after an illness.

Mr. McLeod was born in Scranton, a son of Eulalee Evans McLeod and the late John Sandlin McLeod.

He was a member of Scranton United Methodist Church, retired from the U. S. Air Force and was a recipient of the Bronze Star in Vietnam.

Survivors Include: His mother, Eulalee E. McLeod of Scranton; and two brothers, Angus R. (Pat) McLeod and Harold S. McLeod, both of Fayetteville, N.C.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 31, 2004, in the Scranton United Methodist Church.

Burial, with full military honors, will follow in the church cemetery.
