ObituaryAug 17, 1989  OBITUARY: Montgomery - Mrs. Evelyn L. Broe, age 81, died Tuesday afternoon, August 15, 1989 in the Northwestern Medical Center.

She was born in Montgomery December 14, 1907, daughter of the late James and Lizzie (Reed) Levis.

She was employed in nursing service at the Masonic Hospital in Connecticut and following her retirement she returned to Montgomery and later to Beth-El Court in Saint Albans. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary Unit #12 of Richford.

Her husband, Homer Broe, died in 1967. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

At her own request, there will be no public funeral services. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Richford. Arrangements are by the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home.
