Obituary | Nov 12, 2021 | OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS – Amanda Jean Larose, age 38, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at the UVM Medical Center in Burlington. She was born in St. Albans on October 31, 1983 to Joyce (Corey) Christian and the late Terrance Larose. Amanda had a big heart, and would always care for others in need, especially animals. She would regularly take in animals that were suffering and make sure they had a loving home. Many of these animals were placed with her family members because they became so attached. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Christian of Enosburg Falls; three sisters, Linda Sochia and her husband James, Laura Field and her husband Rick, and Lisa Larose and her husband Scott Jewett; three nephews, Seth Sochia, Tyler Sochia, and Matthew Machia-Field; a niece, Kaylee Sochia; and several close friends. Amanda was predeceased by her father, Terrance Larose; her step-father, Ronald Christian; her grandparents, Raymond & Sheila Larose, and William & Eleanor Corey; and a very special great grandmother, Mary Larose. Amanda’s family would like to thank the ICU team at the University of Vermont Medical Center for the wonderful care she received while in their care. Amanda’s family will be holding a private memorial for her. For those who wish, contributions in Amanda’s memory may be made to Franklin County Animal Rescue, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans, VT 05478.
