ObituaryApr 8, 2006  OBITUARY: Mr. Earl P. Moulton, 90, of East Charleston died April 7, 2006 at his home in East Charleston surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 14, 1915 in East Charleston a son of William and Cora (Batchelder) Moulton. On November 11, 1942 he married Geraldine Charland who survives him. Mr. Moulton owned and operated a dairy farm in East Charleston for many years. He was a lifetime and charter member of the Charleston Fire Department. He loved to hunt wildlife, and he enjoyed working in the woods with his horses logging around the East Charleston area. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Moulton of East Charleston, eight children: Byan Moulton and his wife Margaret of Coventry, JoAnn Moulton -McDonald and her husband Larry of Florida, Barry Moulton of Island Pond, Jerry Moulton and his wife Suzanne of Holland, Britt Moulton of West Charleston, Jay Moulton of East Charleston, Blair Moulton and his wife Tammy of East Charleston, Jana Moulton-Berry of Lyndonville, 23 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Alice Davis of East Charleston, sisters-in-law, Sylvia Moulton of East Charleston, Natalie Moulton of East Charleston, and Nancy Moulton of Brunswick,Vt, and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers: Raymond, Gerald, Ira, and Richard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday April 12, 2006 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 4670 Darling Hill Rd, (formerly Sias Ave) with the Rev. Roger Fletcher officiating. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the Charleston Fire Department, P.O.Box 106, East Charleston,Vt 05833.
