He retired from the National Carbon in 1951.

He leaves two sons, Donald of Swanton and Lawrence of Torrence, Calif; two daughters, Miss Lorraine Manchester of Torrence, Calif., and Miss Anna Manchester of St. Albans; two brothers, Charles of Brockton, Mass; and Ronald of Quincy, Mass; a sister, Doris Williams of Massachusetts; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the R. H. Gadue Funeral Home, 34 Canada St., Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. The body will be placed in Riverside Cemetery vault until burial in the spring.
