Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm from High River United church.

Born at Montrose, Colorado, Mr Bishop came with his parents Mr and Mrs J A bishop to the Meadowbank district in 1904. He attended the Meadowbank school, and later was engaged in farming. he was married to Miss Jessie Esplen in 1939.

He is survived by his wife, his parents, three brothers and a sister. The latter are Harold of Picture Butte, Gordon of Haney, BC, Norman of Vulcan and Mrs J Danielson of Picture Butte.
