ObituaryMay 29, 2006  OBITUARY: RICHFORD - Edward Rudolph Nunez, age 75, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006, at his home with his loving family at his side.

He was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Gilbert, Ariz., the son of the late Edward and Annie (Acosta) Nunez.

Edward was a resident of Richford most of his adult life and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He was employed at Blue Seal Feeds for 43 years retiring June 1, 1993. While working at Blue Seal he was also employed as a waiter at Rogers Grill for several years. Edward was a great fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He enjoyed all sports and loved to hunt and be outdoors. Most of all Ed loved to visit and reminisce about family, friends and old times. He will be remembered as having a big heart and also for his willingness to always help whenever needed.

He is survived by his wife, Janice (Gibney) Nunez of Richford, they were married June 4, 1949; his daughters, Candice Anne Corey of Richford, and Debora May Hildebrand and her husband, Jon of Stowe; a special nephew, who Ed consider his son, Terry Gibney and his wife, Judy of Richford; five grandchildren: Matthew James Corey and his wife Cindy, Saralee Macar and her husband Darren, Brian Nelson Tessier Jr., Jessica May Tessier and her companion Rusty Stevens, Travis Lee Tessier and his wife Nicole; his great-grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Monica, Chia, Aiden, Sean Michael, McKenna and Brianna; a very special sister, Betty Carrilo of Tucson, Ariz; a brother and his wife, Robert and Alice Reyes of San Leandro, Calif; and several nieces, nephews and cousins in California, Arizona and Vermont. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a half sister, Rachel Reyes.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2006, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Richford with Rev. Theobald Richard celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 at the Spears Funeral Home, 140 Main St., Richford
