She had lived here sixty years. She was a member of the South Congregational Church.

She married Lester Emery on June 21, 1906 in Sunapee, NH who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three sons Everett Emery of Peace Dale, RI and Raymond Emery and Gordon Emery both of Newport; two daughters Winifred Emery of Portsmouth and Martha Dodge of Newport; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Burial is in the North Newport cemetery.
