Angeline was born on February 6, 1923 to James and Virginia Moyer in Newark, NY. On July 22, 1942 she married Elwood Davio the former Postmaster of Newport, VT who predeceased her on December 12, 2007. Angeline will be remembered as working at JJ Newberrys and Fishmans in Newport, VT. Mrs. Davio enjoyed reading, attending family events, and visiting friends and shut-ins. Angeline also attended St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Angeline is survived by her three children: Theresa Drake and her husband Philip of Derby, VT, Cheryl Davio and Brandon Davio of Newport, VT, four grandchildren: Paula Gratton and her husband Ronnie of Fairfax, VT, Scott Drake and companion Jeremy Davis of Saratoga, NY, Douglas Drake and wife Tammy of North Troy, VT, Rhonda Drake and her companion Dave Roy of Fairfax, VT, great grandchildren: Tia Drake and her companion Tyler Judd of Newport Center, VT, Nathaniel Drake and Emma Drake of North Troy, VT. At Mrs. Davio request there will be no calling hours and the graveside ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family. Spring interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport, VT. Should friends desire contributions in her memory may be made to the Mary Wright Halo Foundation, 1071 Upper Quarry Road, Newport, VT 05855.
