ObituaryMay 15, 2012  OBITUARY: Edgar L. "Sonny" Murphy Jr., 80, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Fletcher Allen Health Care. "Pop" was a tree trimmer for Ashplundh Tree Expert Co. for 24 years. He then worked for Holmdel Township, NJ for 10 years.

He married Lillian Mae Wolfe on May 23, 1954 who predeceased him in 1994. He is survived by his son, Richard and wife Melody of Keysville, VA; his daughter, Terry Poirier and husband Jim of Montgomery, VT; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 until the memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, with Pastor Edward Sorrell officiating.
