| Obituary | Jul 11, 1988 | OBITUARY: CHICOPEE - Frederick J. Orwat, 64, of St. Anthony Street, a former construction worker, died at Baystate Medical Center. He was widower of Wanda A. (Frost) Orwat, who died in 1977. Born in Chicopee, he was the son of the late Joseph and Victena (Gwizdale) Orwat. He was a life-lonh resident of the city and attended its schools. He was a comunicant of St. Anthony of Padus Church. He leaves two sons, Frederick J. Orwat Jr. and James D. Orwat both of Chicopee; three brothers, Edward Orwat and Edwin Orwat of Chicopee, and Henry Orwat of Springfield; a sister, Wanda Daniels of Maryland; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Starzyk Funderal Home, 81 Center St., Chicopee, followed at 10 a.m. by the Mass of Christian burial in St. Anthony of Padua Church with burial in St. Stanislaus Church. Calling hours at the fueral home are today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Fund of western Massachusetts, 1 Armory St., Springfield.
