Obituary | Sep 19, 2003 | OBITUARY: Robert M. "Bud" Kenyon, 85, formerly of Windsor, died at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Junction. He was the son of Raymond and Gertrude (Griffith) Kenyon. He received his education in Windsor. He married Mildred Humphrey on Oct. 25, 1946, in Windsor. She died in 2002. Mr. Kenyon worked for Miller Construction in Windsor as a crane operator for many year, retiring in 1984. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 25 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Windsor. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Mattson of Hartford; a son, Thomas Kenyon of Burlington; two sisters, Beverly Foster of St. Cloud, Fla., and June Barrows of White River Junction; three grandchildren; three great - grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Raymond Kenyon, in 1985; and two sisters and one brother. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Hartland with the Rev. Robert W. Moyer, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. Published in the Rutland Herald September 19, 2003.2 |
