Obituary | Dec 13, 2005 | OBITUARY: Beulah Lee Whitefield of Pauls Valley was born September 12, 1927, in Roff, Oklahoma, to Clarence B. and Effie Mae (Taylor) Clayton. She passed away December 11, 2005, at Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years. On September 28, 1946, Beulah Lee Clayton was married to James B. Whitefield in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Beulah worked along side her husband on the family farm. She was a devoted housewife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. For six years she worked as a cook at the Pauls Valley State School. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.B. and Effie Mae Clayton; her husband, James B. Whitefield on June 5, 1990; an infant son; and one brother. Surviving family include two daughters: Pat Tarver and her husband Harry of Wanette, and Teresa Meadows of Pauls Valley; two sons: James M. Whitefield and his wife Nancy, and James L. Whitefield and his wife Kim, all of Pauls Valley; five grandchildren: Tommy G. Pearson, Crissina Whitefield, Kenzie Whitefield and Kelsie Whitefield and Amber Meadows; two great-grandchildren, Jessica Anderson and Colton Anderson; and three brothers: C.C. ‘Fat' Clayton and his wife Linda, and Sonny ‘Baggs' Clayton, all of Wynnewood, and Bill Clayton and his wife Carolyn of Norman. God saw how tired she was and now she's home with God and our Daddy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Rev. Jimmy Dehart.
