Related to Redbeard The Pirate (born in Lesbos, Turkey as Khayr al-Din) - This is questionable and was a hand me down story. I found Redbeard was a greek/turkish pirate on the Barbary Coast circa 1530's. Redbeard aka Barbarossa.³
