Mrs. Jester was born in Bakersfield, Vt. She was the widow of Hildred Earl Jester Sr. and was a member of True Vine Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Clark of Norfolk; a son, Hildred E. Jester Jr. of Norfolk; a brother, David Deuso of Montgomery, Vt; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Holden, Rachel Holden and Edward Holden, all of Virginia Beach, and James E. Clark II of Rappahannock, Va; and numerous friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Pastor David W. Gibson. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
