ObituaryOct 5, 2006  OBITUARY: Barbara A. (Bocash) Barney, 65, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Upton and Millbury, died early Tuesday, October 3, 2006 in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a long illness. She was the widow of Ralph L. Barney, who died in 1981.

Mrs. Barney was born in St. Albans, VT, the daughter of the late Harold and Alice B. (Clapper) Bocash. She moved to Shrewsbury from Millbury 21 years ago.

She leaves two sons, Dwayne L. and David A. Barney, both of Worcester; two daughters, Lisa A. Barney of Worcester and Julie A. Barney of Shrewsbury; three sisters, Patricia Dion of St. Albans, VT, Linda Mahoney of Milton, VT, and Sherry Westcom of Bakersfield, VT; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Another son, James P. Barney, died in 1985, and her brother, Frederick W Bocash of Corpus Christi, TX died in 1999.
