Born Aug. 29, 1898, in Vermont, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster. Lived 26 years in Rockford, coming here from Boston, Mass. Married to the former Mary Fairbanks in Nashua, N.H., Nov. 29, 1933. Employed as a maintenance painter by Ipsen Industries, Inc. Member of the Eagles Club and the Painters Union.

Survivors include: his widow, Mary; a brother, Herbert L., Hyampom, Calif. and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Halbrook and Mrs. Hazel Cox, both in Vermont.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Fred C. Olson Mortuary. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
