Obituary | Mar 19, 2005 | OBITUARY: DUMMERSTON -- Marshall J. Currier Sr., 68, of Dummerston, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at his home. He was born on Feb. 7, 1937, in Whiting, the son of William and Doris (Aiken) Currier. He worked for many years for the Cersosimo Lumber Co., before retiring from there. In addition to his wife, Dorothy (Williams) Currier, Mr. Currier is survived by four sons, Marshall Currier Jr., Robert Currier and William Currier, all of Middlebury, and Philip Currier of Forestdale; three daughters, Terry Brinkman of Bristol, Lillian Euber of Dummerston and Lois Moschinger of Walpole, N.H; a brother, Edward Currier of Melbourne, Fla; two sisters, Anna Mitchell of Salisbury, and Helena Welch of Westport, N.Y; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Currier, and a sister, Sylvia Porter. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be at the Ker-Westerlund Funeral Home in Brattleboro on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions in Mr. Currier's memory may be made to the Thompson House Activity Fund, 30 Maple St., Brattleboro, VT 05301.
