Obituary | Jan 7, 1964 | OBITUARY: Frank D. Laber 64, of East Mountain Road, died Monday at the Veteran's Hospital at White River Junction after a long illness. Born in Barton, VT, Mr. Laber had been a resident of this community for 23 years. He was a veteran of WWI and a member of the VFW and the Yankee Division. Members of the family include his wife, Mrs. Pearl LaBombard, five sons, Charles F. Laber of Walpole, Clarence E. Laber of Newport. Capt. Roger C. Laber of Newfoundland; Alfred W. Laber of Manchester, VT. A daughter Mrs. Jean Callum of Missoula MT, 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Military services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at the Newton Bartlett Funeral home, with the Rev. Walter Bartlett, pastor of the Church of the Good Shepherd officiating.
