ObituaryJun 15, 1991  OBITUARY: FITCHBURG - Pauline M. (Magoon) Ryder, 84, of 1341 West Sells Drive, Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Fitchburg, died Tuesday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital.

Her husband, Lawrence E. Ryder, died in 1941. She leaves a daughter, Frances Jane Ryder; a sister, Maude Gelinas, both of Phoenix; nephews and nieces. She was born in West Derby, Vt., daughter of Luman and Jane (Brown) Magoon, and lived here many years before moving to Phoenix in 1961.

Mrs. Ryder worked at the former Gill-Ash Shoe Co. She later worked for 10 years at the former Cluet-Peabody Co. in Leominster, retiring in 1961.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Fitchburg Chapel of Sawyer-Miller Funeral Homes, 129 Elm St. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions made to the Arizona Humane Society, 9226 North 13th Ave., Phoenix, 85023.
