He served in the Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Emilo; daughter, Lee Ann Howe of Encinitas; son, Jerry Emilo of San Diego; sister, Dorothy of New York; brothers, David Moss and Joel Emilo of Florida; and six grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, with rosary at 7 p.m., Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2766 Navajo Drive, El Cajon.

Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Interment: after Mass, Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.

Arrangements: Goodbody Mortuary.
