Obituary | Sep 7, 1970 | OBITUARY: Mr. Bourn was born in Winhall Dec. 11, 1886, son of Dwight Winslow and Laura F. (Fay) Bourn. He had resided in Winhall until seven years ago when he sold his farm and moved to Wells. His first wife was the former Jennie Douglass, who is deceased. He leaves his second wife, Clara; three daughters and four sons from the first marriage; Mrs. Minnie Slason and Mrs. Julia Mulholland, both of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Effie Gilmore of Worcester, Mass; Herbert of Granville, N.Y; John of Manchester Depot, Herman of Poultney and Frank; two adopted children, Donald D. Bourn of Pawlet and Mrs. Jennie L. Hubbard of Warwick, Mass; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Capen of Brattleboro and Mrs. Della Robbins of Keene, N.H; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral of Dwight Winslow Bourn, 84, of Bondville, who died Sunday (06 Sep 1970) at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Home in Rutland, were held last Wednesday afternoon (09 Sep 1970) in the Bondville Church. Burial followed in Bondville Cemetery.5 |
