He was born in Burlington, June 16, 1892, the son of James and Hanna (Sibley) Preble. He was a life member of Escutasis Grange in Lowell and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Theodore Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Madison. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Thursday.
