ObituarySep 27, 1947  OBITUARY: GEORGE W. SIBLEY, BURLINGTON, Sept. 26-George W. Sibley, 80. died this morning in a Bangor hospital. Son of the late Jeremiah and Mary (Douglas) Sibley, he was a life-long resident of Burlington. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Archie Shorey, Burlington; Mrs. George Porter, Howland; Mrs. Raymond Jipson, Lowell; and Mrs. Norman Tripp and Mrs. Margaret Smith, both of Burlington. He is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Annie Miller, Boston, Mass., and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children. Funeral services will be held at the Burlington church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in the family lot at Mount Repose cemetery, Burlington, Maine.
