Mrs. Stanley was born March 31, 1928, in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Charles M. and Isabelle I (Gallagher) Huntoon.

Mrs. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Belmont and was a nursing supervisor at the Lakes Region General Hospital for forty years, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil W. Stanley, of Belmont; a son, Norman G. Stanley of Roanoke, VA; two daughters, Nancy S. McCarty, of Belmont and Norma G. Stanley of Melbourne, Australia; five grandchildren; one sister, Melba Chase of Northfield and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother and sister.

According to Mrs. Stanley’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
