ObituaryJun 3, 2003  OBITUARY: RUTLAND -- The funeral service for Verona Iris Snow, 79, of Rutland who died Monday June 2, 2003, at Rutland Regional Medical Center following a long illness will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Aldous Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Swanton.

She was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Swanton, the daughter of Percy and Lena (Blodgett) Medor.

Mrs. Snow was a longtime resident of Rutland, and member of the Rutland Senior Center and the RSVP program. She loved her family and home and had been employed by the Grand Theatre and Metro Mail Co.

Survivors include two sons, Harold E. Snow of Rutland, and David R. Snow of Bennington; a brother, Kenneth Medor of Florida; four grandchildren, Kim Lewis, Paul Snow, Lynn Evans, and Traci Thomas; and four great-grandchildren, Colby Evans, Caitlyn Evans, Brandon Jenkins, and Reily Lewis. Her husband, Sgt. Paul Snow, Vermont State Police-retired predeceased her.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main Street, Rutland.
