ObituaryDec 18, 1960  OBITUARY: Mrs. Maude Miller Jarvis Hudgins, 41, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, December 16, 1960, in her home at 1 East Road, North Alanton, London Bridge.

A native of Mathews County, she had been a resident of London Bridge two years.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Edward Hudgins; a son, Walter E. Hudgins Jr. of Charlottesville; her mother, Mrs. Maude Miller Jarvis of Mathews; and two sisters, Mrs. Watson Hudgins and Mrs. Francis Acey, both of Mathews.

The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home at Norfolk to the Faulkner Funeral Home in Mathews. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 1960 in St. Paul’s Methodist Church Cemetery at Susan.
