I guess after 29 NH winters, California looked pretty good to him. He had contracted malaria and had partial deafness in both ears. He was not married when he applied for the pension. Found in 1910 CA Soundex. Found in 1920, in Sutter Co., Does NOT appear in CA Death Index (starts in 1940.)1,2 |
