Mrs. Wood, a native of North Carolina, was a former looper at the Elizabeth City Hoisery Mill. She was the widow of James Boyd Wood.

Survivors include two daughters, Billie Parker of King George, Va., and Jule Sadler of Orlando, Fla; a son, James M. Wood of Frederick, Md; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Westlawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Twiford's Northside Chapel.
