Obituary | Mar 13, 1934 | OBITUARY: MRS. AMANDALINE E. BRUBAKER - Wife of John Brubaker, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. W. Hoover, at Cross Keys, Pa at 10.15 o'clock last night of a complication of diseases after a short illness. She was born in Carson Valley on March 22, 1858, a daughter of William and Frances Plowman, and had resided in that vicinity all her life. Surviving are her husband three sons and two daughters, David C Brubaker and Mrs. Elsie Irvin of the city, Allen of Huntingdon, W. Va., Daniel J. Brubaker and Mrs. Lottie F. Hoover, both of Cross Keys, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters, David Plowman of Wilkinsburg, John Plowman and Mrs. Catherine Brubaker of Cross Keys, Mrs. Susan Stoner and Mrs. Clara Myers of the city. Funeral services will be held in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren at 2.15 o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Carson Valley cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Hoover home.
