Jane is noted to be a Seaman's wife. Son, Alexander, is noted "Scholar" at 11 years of age. Joseph is also a "Scholar" at age is 8. Daniel is 5. Wilson is 4, and Andrina is 3.2 
Census1901  Jane Alexander Youngson appeared on the Scotland census of 1901. Jane is living at Lower Lochside, along with Joseph (19 years old), Daniel (16), Wilson (15) and Andrina (13). Jane is the widowed head of household. Joseph and Daniel's occupation is Cooper ("Herring Lade"?). Wilson and Andrina are both "Scholars". Contrary to the 1891 Census, Joseph, Daniel and Wilson are noted to have been born in Lerwick. Andrina was born in Peterhead.3

Jane Alexander Youngson, widow of Alexander Manson, married Alexander Stephen at Cafe Royal on Broad Street in Aberdeen, Scotland. The marriage was witnessed by her son, Wilson Manson, and daughter, Andrina Manson. Alexander Stephen was a Fisherman. At the time of her death, Jane Youngson was Jane Stephen, widow of Alexander Stephen. She died September 29, 1917 at 32 Andrew St., Peterhead, Scotland at the age of 57. Her parents are William Youngson (Fisherman) and Mary Summers. Both are deceased. Jane died of New growth of Omentum Ascites (6 months). The signature of qualified informant is her daughter-in-law, Jane Manson of 74 Marischal St., Peterhead.1
