Researcher's Note* | | Thomas Roberts was a Member of the Fishmonger's Company of London. He was President of the Court - Bristol Company. He was one of 41 settlers who signed the "Dover Combination of October 22, 1642. He was granted 20 Acres of land in Dover, NH - Lot #1 in 1642, and later an additional 30 acres. He regularly paid the highest amount of tax in town; and publicily rebuked his sons, constables of Dover for their harsh treatment of the local Quakers.
