Researcher's Note* | | On Hotten's list of the Reverend Hull Company, Zachary Bicknell aged 45 yeare. He lived as of September 1635 in Weymouth, Massachusetts; Twenty acres of land were assigned and sold to the Bicknell family on which to build their dwelling and make their home. This lot and house were located on what is now Middle Street, in the village of East Weymouth, Mass., the house having been built in the autumn of 1635. Their dwelling was probably a one-room log house, after the fashion of the houses of the early settlers of New England. He died in 1636 in Massachusetts. He died within two years of landing in the New World.3 |
