ObituaryJul 17, 1956  OBITUARY: Worcester, July 16 – Mrs. Frances P. (Cantell) Allen, wife of Edgar L. Allen of 8277 Burgandy St., Cucamonga, Cal., was killed in an automobile accident in Ontario, Cal., Saturday.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Mrs. Rose C. (DeNubila) Cantell and the late Raymond M. Cantell. She was formerly a resident of Westfield, Mass., and had been a resident of Cucamonga for nine years. Besides her husband and mother, she leaves two sons, Edgar F. of Upland, Cal., and Jon R., stationed at U.S. Naval Hospital at Beaufort, S.C; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine M. Forkey and Mrs. Virginia N. Spencer, both of Worcester. The funeral will be held at the James E. Fay Funeral Home, 9 Hammond St., Worcester, at a time to be announced. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
